Award winning novelist, screenwriter and essayist whose latest novel is the literary thriller, What A Mother Knows. Other books include Wife Goes On, 66 Laps, Welcome to Club Mom and Nesting (featured on Oprah.) Lehr’s screenplays include “Club Divorce” and “Heartless,” currently playing in Europe. Her essays have appeared in the New York Times “Modern Love” column, Mommy Wars (praised on the Today Show), On Becoming Fearless, The Honeymoon’s Over, Huffington Post, and the Girlfriends Group Book Club Blog. Lehr is the Novel Consultant for Truby Writers’ Studio after a decade of teaching novel writing at the Writers Studio at UCLA Extension. She has a BA from the USC School of Cinematic Arts and an MFA at Antioch University. While she lives in Santa Monica, Lehr is a popular speaker at conferences ranging from Words & Music in New Orleans, the Pulpwood Queens in Texas, and Story Expo in Los Angeles.
