Kelly Hayes was born and raised in Southern California. While traveling the world she met the Englishman who later became her husband. They lived in London for several years, beginning their quest to see the perfect castle ruin. They now reside in California, where Kelly works in a public library. When she’s not writing fiction in her spare time, she does mixed-media art. Keepers is her first YA novel and was the winner of the San Diego Book Award for unpublished YA fiction.
