So, you’re a pantser. Ever drive yourself crazy because you write first then have mountains of clean up to do later, costing yourself valuable time in the editing/revision stage? In this “how to” workshop, you will learn the steps you can take in your first draft that will later save you time and help to preserve your sanity.
We will also discuss preparing a manuscript for beta readers as well as gleaning the most from that process by asking readers the right questions, and polishing pages for an editor (much akin to straightening the house before the cleaners show up).
At the end of this workshop, you will feel confident that even a pantser can adopt simple practices that make for a tighter first draft.
Note: Please bring 2-5 pages of your current WIP as we will put precepts into practice.
